KUWAIT: A 16-year-old Kuwaiti living in Jahra lodged a complaint against two brothers accusing them of sexually harassing him. Police referred the case to the public prosecutor who suspected the allegations and demanded further investigations to be done in the case. On being initially interrogated by detectives the young man told them that two Kuwaiti brothers along with their fifteen friends sodomized him in a desert camp in Al-Zour. Then on being instructed by the public prosecutor to delve further into the case, the young man admitted that he was closely associated with the sister of the two brothers and that they frequently conversed through their mobiles, adding, "when her brothers found out, they asked me to meet them to settle things out." He said since he was afraid of meeting them alone, he asked his friend to accompany him, who were both shocked to see the gang there. He added that the gang then forced him and his friend to have sex together while they recorded the entire act on their mobile phones' cameras, after which the entire gang of seventeen then sodomized both of them and threatened to flood Kuwait with the clips if they ever talked or recalled their sister. He also said that one of the girl's brothers later on called him again as he wanted to sodomize him on the same threat. Police arrested the gang and further interrogations are in progress.

Impersonators arrested

Two Kuwaitis were arrested for dressing in military uniforms, riding two motorcycles painted in military colours and carrying real life-like weapons along the Arabian Gulf Road, which stirred panic amongst passers-by.

Bedoons arrested

Three bedoons were arrested in Jleeb for impersonating police detectives and terrorizing Asian families. Police had earlier been tipped off on the activities of five bedoons who had been vandalizing and looting apartments inhabited by Asian families impersonating police detectives. They however managed to apprehend only three as two managed to evade arrest.

Shotgun backfires

Adan Hospital officials called for a police investigation when they received an unconscious patient with a huge wound in his head and had to be admitted to the intensive care unit. On interrogating the patient's friends, they claimed that they had been playing together, when one of them threw a stone, which landed on his head, injuring him. However, under pressure from extensive interrogations, the boys confessed that their friend accidentally shot himself when he was practicing how to use a shotgun in a hunting expedition.
